Since 2008 Falck has offered fire services outside of Denmark, among other things industrial fire services in addition to fire training and consulting for industrial and public clients.
Falck has acquired the majority of shares in the largest industrial fire fighting company in Spain, Lainsa-SCI - now Falck SCI, and at the same time entered into a partnership with the former owner, Grupo Dominguis, about the future development of Falck SCI. This partnership is the platform for an expected expansion of fire services in Southern Europe, South America and Mexico.
In Holland Falck has joined the owners of AVD Group, which offers consulting primarily in fire fighting mainly for the public sector in Holland. Fire inspections, risk analyses and risk based dimensioning of fire services are only some of the services that Falck can now offer through AVD Group. At the same time, AVD Group manages two training centres in Dordrecht and Barneveld in Holland where courses in fire fighting for public as well as private clients are offered.
In Slovakia and Romania Falck provides varouis large clients with industrial fire fighting services, and Falck is in charge of the fire fighting services at the airports of Arlanda and Saatenas, Sweden, as well as at the Swedish power plant Forsmark.
Fire & Safety also has minor fire service activities in Brazil and the United Kingdom.
